2. Product Function
The product adopts a mechanism to report human body status information (unmanned/occupied: walk mode, leisure mode, presence mode) and the light level in every 30 seconds through the MCU serial port.

Walk Mode: a large movement (walking) of the human body is detected within 30S.
Leisure Mode: only small motion of the human body are detected within 30S, such as: forward, backward, limb
swing, head shaking, typing, playing with mobile phones and other minor actions.
Presence Mode: only detects human breathing within 30S (abdominal cavity, thoracic cavity expansion behavior actions), no significant movement is detected.
Light Level Report: report the current light level when the light level changes in the preset range.

1) Sensitivity, indicator light, and hold time function are set through the Tuya APP.
2) The motion sensor doesn’t work when the sensitivity is set to 0%.
3) Human occupancy detecting function for switch and automation.
4) Motion, minor movement, and breathing signals are separated to realize different behavior control mode.
5) Support the networking function of the master and slave controllers.
6) Triggered status display (unmanned / occupied:walk mode, leisure mode, presence mode).

3. Initialization
The Initialization will be finished after indicator light flashes for 20 seconds when the initial power-on. During the initialization period, the external movement signal is not detected. The indicator light can be turned on/off through the APP, as well as the hold time and detection range (sensing distance).

Microwave Motion Sensor

Based on principle of Doppler effect and 5.8GHz microwave detection technology for motion detecting. Currently, Merrytek developed over 200 models motion sensors which support long detection area up to 20m, 15m mounting height and outdoor use motion sensors. LifeBeing Presence Sensor Technology

As only support big range movement detecting, microwave is normally used in the places people only make a brief stay, for example, corridor, stair well, warehouse and parking lot. Merrytek use high frequency microwave and unique programming, microwave sensors are able to detect very minor movements, i.e. typing and breathing to avoid false reporting and underreporting. Merrytek provides series sensors with KNX, DALI, 485 and Bluetooth for building automation.

Daylight Sensor

As always, Merrytek concentrates on simple intelligent light solutions and luminaries’ construction. We successfully completed an in depth study of our patented self-adaptive LED drivers which can identify artificial light and natural light. We therefore can supply an extremely cost-effective and energy saving daylight harvesting solution for office use.

Flicker-free DALI/1-10V Dimmable LED Driver

Replacing traditional incandescent and fluorescent lights with more efficient and longer-lasting LED-based solid-state lighting (SSL) is an undeniable trend in the lighting industry. However, since SSL fixtures are directly connected to an AC power supply, (consistent with legacy lighting), there is a risk that 100-Hz or 120-Hz flicker could occur as a result of the driving AC current’s fluctuation at the supply's output. Flicker can make people uncomfortable, causing headaches, stress and fatigue even though the human eye may not detect the flicker.

Currently, most of dimmable LED drivers have flickering issues (especially PWM types), when dimmed below 5%. Merrytek newly-developed flicker-free dimming technology can eliminate nearly all flickering and even when dimmed to 2%.
