The product detects human moving, minor moving, and presence signals, and realizes the detection of human-existing/no-human in non-sleep state. The following is a description of the moving, minor moving and presence signals:

l Major movement: detect the human significant moving (walking) in the detection area.

l Minor movement: detect the human slight movement in the detection area, such as leaning forward, leaning forward and back, swinging limbs, shaking head, typing, playing with mobile phones, and so on.

l Micro movement: detect human abdominal and thoracic expansion behaviors caused by breathing but do not detect moving signals or minor moving signals.

7. Function

The built-in light sensor can automatically detects the intensity of natural light to adjust the artificial light according to the preset lux level, to maintain target illumination. It can be used in offices, airports, shopping malls and other occasions where the brightness of lamps needs to be adjusted according to sunlight during the day

Note: you shall long press MH10 remote’s “DH mode” button more than 3s to start this function,when the load fixtures flash once means the function is enabled successfully.After that you shall press “DIM+”/ ”DIM-” button to set target lux level.When the setting is successful, when the external natural light becomes dark (brighter), the sensor will increase (lower) the brightness of the lamp to maintain preset target lux level(this status is short in “With DH” in following).

Long press “Override DH” 3s on remote control to override daylight harvesting function,load fixtures flash once means the function is disabled successfully.

Microwave Motion Sensor

Based on principle of Doppler effect and 5.8GHz microwave detection technology for motion detecting. Currently, Merrytek developed over 200 models motion sensors which support long detection area up to 20m, 15m mounting height and outdoor use motion sensors. Those are at the leading position in our industry.

LifeBeing Presence Sensor Technology

As only support big range movement detecting, microwave is normally used in the places people only make a brief stay, for example, corridor, stair well, warehouse and parking lot. Merrytek use high frequency microwave and unique programming, microwave sensors are able to detect very minor movements, i.e. typing and breathing to avoid false reporting and underreporting. Merrytek provides series sensors with KNX, DALI, 485 and Bluetooth for building automation.

Daylight Sensor

As always, Merrytek concentrates on simple intelligent light solutions and luminaries’ construction. We successfully completed an in depth study of our patented self-adaptive LED drivers which can identify artificial light and natural light. We therefore can supply an extremely cost-effective and energy saving daylight harvesting solution for office use.

Flicker-free DALI/1-10V Dimmable LED Driver

Replacing traditional incandescent and fluorescent lights with more efficient and longer-lasting LED-based solid-state lighting (SSL) is an undeniable trend in the lighting industry. However, since SSL fixtures are directly connected to an AC power supply, (consistent with legacy lighting), there is a risk that 100-Hz or 120-Hz flicker could occur as a result of the driving AC current’s fluctuation at the supply's output. Flicker can make people uncomfortable, causing headaches, stress and fatigue even though the human eye may not detect the flicker.

Currently, most of dimmable LED drivers have flickering issues (especially PWM types), when dimmed below 5%. Merrytek newly-developed flicker-free dimming technology can eliminate nearly all flickering and even when dimmed to 2%.
